Rihanna Performs at the 57th Annual Super Bowl
On Feb. 12, Rihanna performed at the 57th annual Super Bowl, breaking her seven year hiatus since she last released music. This year’s Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the Eagles took place in Glendale, Arizona at the State Farm Stadium and included performers such as Academy of Country Music Award winner Chris Stapleton, Grammy Award winner Kennith “Babyface” Edmonds and Emmy Award winner Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Rihanna’s performance has been highly anticipated since it was confirmed in September of last year. Having gone through a seven year hiatus since she last released her album Anti (2016), her appearance has been eagerly awaited with several fans speculating theories as to what her performance would include. Some fans joked that since she has decided to focus on her lingerie and makeup beauty brands, Savage X and Fenty Beauty, her half-time performance would just be her doing makeup on the football players of the event.
Rihanna’s performance included songs such as: “B*itch Better Have My Money, Where Have You Been, We Found Love, Rude Boy, Work, Wild Thoughts, Pour it Up, All of the Lights, Run This Town, Umbrella and Diamond.”
Rihanna wore all red while her performers dressed in all white and even danced upon lifted platforms to reveal by the end of the show that she and A$AP Rocky are once again expecting a child.
